FAQ's

Q: Is there an area where I can view the upcoming workshops?

A: I will reveal projects about 2-3 weeks prior to each date. At that time I will start taking reservations. Be sure to watch and subscribe to events to see upcoming classes.

Q: What time should I arrive?

A: We ask that you arrive 10 minutes before the workshop is to start so that we can start on time and stay on track. Plus – first come – first to choose the base they like they most – because they’re all unique.

Q: I have a friend who didn’t buy a spot at the workshop BUT would like to tag along. Is this allowed?

A: I'm sorry but this is not allowed. Due to space and safety issues I cannot allow anyone that does not have a spot reserved to come and hang out.

Q: Are there age requirements for your workshops?

A: There are age requirements depending on the venue. If you're interested in attending a class and are under 21, please check to make sure the venue allows it before registering.  Most projects are recommended for ages 12 and above. If children are present they must register in addition to the parent/guardian – there are times where I have smaller signs available at a reduced cost for tweens/teens. Q: What is the price for your workshop?

A: The prices are usually $40-55 depending on the project.

Q: Can I bring food and drinks? What about adult beverages?

A: Wine, beer and food are available for purchase at the venue! Adult beverages are welcome at private parties as well.

Q: What should I wear?

A: Whatever you feel most comfortable in! I provide full aprons to protect most of your clothing but you could get paint on yourself still so keep that in mind! Closed toed shoes are recommended but not required.

Q: I'm not very creative. Are you sure I can do this??

A: For sure!! You will be walked through step by step to make sure your creation is just as you imagined it would be! We welcome all skill levels!

Q: Do I need a reservation?

A: YES! Because I make all the supplies, I require everyone to have a reservation.

Q: I have a group of friends, can we book a private workshop?

A: Absolutely!! I offer Private Workshops for groups of 9 or more! You can host it at a venue of your choosing, or I can come to your house. I’ll supply everything – just add the friends, plus – with 9 or more friends, the host is free!

Q: Should I bring anything?

A: Nope! I have it all covered!! ALL materials for each project are provided!! Just bring yourself, and maybe a few ideas of what colors you might want.

Q: What sort of tools/supplies will we be using?

A: All of our projects involve wood. You could be using hairdryers, drills, sandpaper, latex paints, stains and waxes.

Q: What is the cancellation policy?

A: There are NO REFUNDS FOR WORKSHOPS! However, if you cancel with at least 48 hours notice your full reservation fee will be turned into a future credit. If unforeseen circumstances require you to cancel in less than 48 hours, we will make a ONE TIME exception and issue you a workshop credit in the amount of HALF of your registration fee.
